About

For 30 years, Graham Central Station in Tempe was THE place to go for a boot-scootin’ good time. This honky-tonk venue had numerous dance floors, plenty of booze, and even a concert hall where several of legends graced the stage, including the likes of Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. Unfortunately, due to a slump in revenues, GCS closed its doors on November 17, 2012.

The good times had here will long be remembered by many. While this was one of our favorite Phoenix hot spots and we were saddened by its closing, we are happy to report that there is still plenty of entertaining clubs and bars to keep the party going. If you live in the Phoenix area or you’re dropping in for a visit, then this site is for you! Learn about the latest club openings, get the scoop on happy hours, and find out more information about the best watering holes in the desert. We aim to keep the spirit of Graham Central Station alive and kicking!
